Hello, this is Rob Mullins-educator
and performer in Los Angeles, California. I specialize in
designing a custom combined

standards you need, improve your voicings, comping, and
improv skills. I can take your understanding of jazz
harmony to new heights and we can explore Chick, Herbie,
Bill Evans, any artist you aspire to. So let's get you set
up with a free Zoom consultation and see exactly how I can
help you reach your goals. Improve your solo piano, piano
trio, combo, and big band playing so you are ready for any

Do you want a teacher with their own book line who
can modify their curriculum to match YOUR needs? Do
you want your teacher to help you get that "Jazzy
Feel" going in your music?
Do you want to start with what YOU want to work on
and not spend hours and hours on formulated videos and
book material that have no relevance to your needs? If you

If you answered YES to the above questions,
it's

Click the links at the top of the page to
get more specific information-my instructor bio tells the
history of my program. You can hear students play and read
what they have to say, and much more. For more info,
please email us. Currently in my program, my students
range from 13 to 75 years old and I will take any student
in that age range as long as they are prepared to work
seriously on their music as their schedule permits.
Many of my students play just for their own enjoyment.
Some go into the music industry and make careers. I am
happy to help them and you as well!
My teaching methods are tried and true after more than
40000 hours taught over a 40 year period. I am supported
by certified instructors around the world including:
Voting Members of the Grammy
Awards, instructors at Curtis University, San Diego State University,
Colburn School, Denver University, Fullerton College,
University of Colorado (Boulder), University of Redlands,
New Mexico Jazz Workshop, and many more. Full list and
references upon request.
The reason for the success of my coaching
program is simple: I give students exactly what they need
at their lessons, and show them the fastest pathway to
achieve their goals.
I concentrate strongly
on the fundamentals of musicianship while working
on music that excites the student. I can eliminate your
frustration quickly and get you on the right path. Also
you should know that we'll never put you on an email list
or sell your information.
