Hiya folks, and welcome to the March news:)
I've been having a lot of fun on my gigs lately, and things are really heating up along with the weather here in southern California. Our gig with the singers from the Lenny Kravitz Band was just huge-the busiest night in the history of the Friday gig-and a good time was had by all. Troy Michael and Todd who've been budz for years now came by and sang, as well as Jennifer who's been hanging around for the past year or so. Tony S. helped out with some blazing guitar riffs, and Nat Scott and Vail Johnson filled out the rythym section.
Peter White, world renowned guitarist who lives out here, stopped in and surprised us on Friday March 3 at Kikuya. He came in out of the blue and played two sets with us. Needless to say, the fans were delighted. Complete story with pictures is here.
Eric and I are hard at work on his new CD project here at my studio, and will be bringing you more cool tunes in a couple months so stay tuned!
Also, I'll be returning to Spaghettini in Seal Beach with my regular band March 25 for an encore performance as well!
After six months off so our percussionist Alan Kaufman could take time out to direct the new Bruce Willis movie, the China Club All Stars are back in business on the 15th at the Sunset Grill in Hollywood. More details on the gig page coming soon. Talk to you all soon, and see you live sometime this month!
