On the serious tip tho, earth is becoming a very scary place to be these days. There have been years and years of negative world events during my lifetime,
but the ones that are happening now have a very different feel to them......some parts of me think that then end is near.....and that there
is something to all that gloom and doom in the Bible that my mom has been talking about all this time.
At any rate, I don't know what is going to happen with the future of the Accelerators- I know that the live CD we have been recording
isn't anywhere near done, and, personally, I hope the world situation will lighten up, and we can keep on taking this great show
on the road. Its way too much fun...............................

  For the past couple of weeks, I've been working with a composer on a Nickelodeon show called
"Cousin Skeeter"...I have a few songs in upcoming episodes if you'd like to check them out.
 I started a studio design consulting job for a new multimedia complex in
Beverly Hills this week. The complex is called "Castaways Studios", and it will be the largest
casting studio in the L.A. area, complete with an ADR room which I have been hired to design...the focus of the music studio will be mostly
voice over work.
 The last week of August I did some piano work for a new film that is debuting at the next Sundance Film Festival. The film is called "Tina Gets Her Man", and its a mystery/dark comedy from Kevin Costner's company...can't wait to see if after the editing is done.
 There have been a lot of requests for audio files from my collection of recorded music as of late, and well, we did a series of RA files........
Frankly, they sounded so bad because of the software limitations that I didn't put them up on the website. Look for audio to be up sometime this fall tho. We are still checking out formats for quality and file size......
 Its been extrodinarily hot in L.A. lately, records being shattered, and not just old beatle sides if you know what i mean...heh..........
What do you think, is it global warming that is doing this, or just too many feminists talking all at once? ROFL!..... At any rate, I hope fall brings relief for everyone...
 Derek Bordeaux called me in for a couple of gigs the last week of august..talk about a great singer!...that guy is the most underrated cat around...check him out some saturday down at salt creek grill..he's smoking.
 I finished up the new songs for a new artist Peter Tripp recently at much2loud
recording studios......good luck Peter, its tough out there.
 Tony Guererro wins this year's "most unlikely to complete my cd before the year 2000" award. We'll be sending over your lapel pin and ascot when we get a chance Tony......LOL
 EQUALS Another casualty from RL came to the forefront in my life over the weekend...one of my friends' moms is now a full-on aol-aholic, and is really having trouble.
"I'm not addicted, I just want to check my mail." yeah right..

 August marked the two year anniversary of bass player Marty Ruddy's death..Marty was one of SIX of my friends who died while I was recording the "dance for the new world" project...I really miss Marty these days..his sense of humor would be a real plus with all the junk going on out in the world right now.
