planetary alignment or what?

maybe it was just my world. or the people i know. whatever it was, it sure seemed wacky.
starting with my office helper splitting to take a road gig leaving six families of music students in the lurch,
my sax player got walking pneumonia. my adopted little brother disappeared for two weeks. my web
hosting company moved my site and i didn't get the email....losing over 60 new pages which all had to be
redone. a best friend came down with cancer and has four weeks to live. another best friend had a stroke
and went blind in one eye for a few days. the girl i was dating got pneumonia and went to the hospital for
two days. the web counter people i was using moved to a paid service leaving me to redo over 100 pages
counter files. an ex showed up and is selling her car, moved into a friend's because she can't afford rent.
23 of 30 superbowl partiers were unemployed. another friend lost a record deal worth over a million bux,
and became a tax write off for warner brothers. another friend's computer quit working and she almost
burned up her kitchen. someone in the tv and film world called me desperate for money and he was
being evicted that day. guys i saw at the NAMM show were losing their homes and moving out of state.

was all this just in my world? or did this kind of stuff  happen to you too?
you know the only thing you can say from the musician's point of view...
thank GOD i have work.
