The Black and Blue Ball is a fundraiser which Rob was proud to be a part of. "As usual, the fundraiser type gig raised a lot of special circumstances" said Rob. I was glad to have the Boys and Girls Clubs of Pasadena gig's experiences to help me through this one" he added. In a recent letter to the music people associated with the event, chairperson for the Black and Blue Ball Rod Bevridge said: "Thanks to the generosity of companies and people like you, the 2001 Black and Blue Ball was the most successful ever, raising over $100,000! Because of your kindness and support, the Muscular Dystrophy Association will continue to provide comprehensive services through local MDA clinics, and to advance its research efforts to find treatments and cures for the more than 40 neuromuscular diseases." |
